Jess Cohen founded Schoolwide, Inc. in 1993 and has served as its President and Chief Operating Officer since its inception. Under Jess’s leadership, Schoolwide has grown from a diminutive book distributor operating out of a home basement into a leading provider of educational products and services to schools, school districts, and teachers. Raised by two New York City Public School teachers, Arnold and Robin Cohen, Jess has been surrounded by teachers his entire life. He is a graduate of Columbia University’s class of 1992 and is an avid sports enthusiast and fan. Jess and his wife, Rory Cohen—also a career educator—live in Long Island, New York with their three children Kyle, Zachary, and Raya.
