Maggie Pilar White has been a teacher, a literacy coach, a supervisor for elementary education, and an assistant principal. She holds an MS in Teaching from Pace University, which she attained as a New York City Teaching Fellow, and an MEd in Educational Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, through the Summer Principals Academy. Her passion is empowering teachers through reflection, demonstrations, observation cycles, and rich discussion based on student data. Maggie believes in incorporating joy into any practice and centering student voices as a means for improvement. Her expertise lies in workshop literacy practices, supporting English Language Learners, and culturally responsive teaching.
