Michele Coulombe

Michele is an experienced education consultant who draws on her knowledge of best practices in literacy to support high-quality instruction and student achievement. She holds both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in New York City. In the twenty-five years she has been in education, she has worked as a classroom teacher, a literacy coach, and a content developer. She led the development of a Pre-K literacy curriculum based on award-winning children’s literature, as well as a comprehensive Pre-K curriculum focused on the integration of literacy, STEM, and social/emotional learning. She has published and presented on a wide range of topics, from enhancing classroom culture to supporting multilingual learners. Currently, she is an adjunct instructor at Temple University, helping to support the next generation of elementary school teachers. Michele currently lives in New Jersey with her husband, her three sons, and her dog, Rocket.
