Nicole Pepe

Nicole began her educational journey as an elementary and middle school teacher in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Her interests lie in balanced literacy and instructional technology. She earned a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a Master’s in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Instructional Technology. Nicole obtained her Supervisor and Administration Certificates with NJ EXCEL. In addition to being a Literacy Consultant with Schoolwide, Inc., Nicole is a Co-founder and Co-owner of NJ Teacher to Teacher, LLC. She has also served as a supervisor of Rutgers teaching interns and she presents workshops for various organizations, such as the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University. Nicole has been a provider of professional development at the Center for Effective School Practices in Rutgers, NJ; a Mathematics Coalition Presenter at the CMSCE at Rutgers University and EIRC (Education Information and Resource Center); and presented on co-teaching at the California Educational Research Association Conference at Disneyland. Nicole is also the co-author of the feature article: “Co-Teaching: Communication and Clarification = Success” in NJ Review Magazine. Nicole is always on the move with her husband following their three sons and enjoying their sports events.
